Rawhiti farm landscape and infrastructure

People & Partnerships

We don't do this alone.

Rawhiti Farm works closely with partners who share our values and hold us accountable.

Cultural, environmental & planting

Ngāti Tumutumu.

Rawhiti Farm values its ongoing relationship with local iwi, Ngāti Tumutumu. The partnership is practical, respectful, and focused on making a meaningful, long-term contribution.

On the employment side, Rawhiti supports opportunities for iwi members through work experience placements, job vacancies, and development initiatives such as scholarships and structured training pathways. This approach is intended to support skills development and career pathways within the agricultural sector.

On the land side, Rawhiti works alongside Ngāti Tumutumu to support environmental restoration. This includes riparian planting across the farm as part of a broader environmental improvement programme, as well as contributing to iwi-led native planting projects on Te Aroha Maunga.

Rawhiti is committed to strengthening this relationship over time and to continuing a collaborative approach that supports both environmental outcomes and community wellbeing.

Local feed supply & support

Farmlands.

We're a proud Farmlands Shareholder.

Whilst we proudly take waste by-products to feed our animals, the aim of any food producer is to have zero waste. Therefore, we also need to be feeding our pigs grains as a part of a balanced diet. That's where our friends at Farmlands come in.

Our diets are milled locally in Morrinsville. We are familiar with the mill and ensure we know where our feed is coming from. Farmlands do a fantastic job of ensuring their grain is of top quality.
